Codes of conduct

Tilsun Group is a member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA)

The BVRLA is the trade body for companies engaged in the leasing, rental and fleet management of cars and commercial vehicles for both corporate users and members of the public. It promotes ethical trading, clear pricing, transparent terms and conditions and high-quality customer service standards.

High standards of service

All BVRLA leasing brokers must adhere to our mandatory Code of Conduct, which is there to ensure that you benefit from the highest standards of service, fair terms and conditions, transparent and accurate information and a complaint resolution service. The code requires members to provide safe and roadworthy vehicles, use accurate advertising and give clear information about their products and services. Members that don’t adhere to it can be expelled from the association.

Complaint Resolution

In addition to our own complaints procedure the BVRLA offers a conciliation process. As Tilsun are members of the BVRLA you can take advice from the BVRLA free of charge, potentially saving you money, time and hassle.

The Leasing Broker Charter

The BVRLA’s Leasing Broker Charter applies to all members offering a broking service and forms a brief summary of the specific terms found in this Code of Conduct. As a member of the BVRLA pledge to provide the following for our customers:

A clear contract for the product or service we are providing, and a clear statement of any associated costs for our service and your rights to cancel the service.
A clear and accurate summary of the leasing or finance terms.
Advice based on your stated needs and requirements.
We will only proceed with selling a product and/or service that reasonably meets those requirements.
Advice, where possible, on the most appropriate vehicle, based on your requirements.
Efficient and professional handling of any after-sales requirements.
Commitment to the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association’s Code of Conduct.
An effective complaints procedure with access to the Conciliation Service administered by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association.
